Jeffrey P. Gaska

UTICA – Mr. Jeffrey P. Gaska, 65, a lifelong Utica resident, passed away on Thursday, January 8th, 2026, at his home in Schuyler, New York.

He was born in Utica on March 15th, 1960, the son of the late Joseph J. and Josephine (Urban) Gaska and attended local schools, namely Utica Free Academy. Jeff was employed by several companies throughout the area, having been last employed with PJ Green in Utica. Jeff will always be remembered as having enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing.

His survivors include his sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Kellihan of Virginia, and Anne Graziadei and her husband Kevin of Oriskany, his brothers, Joseph and Phyllis Gaska of Georgia, Lawrence and Bonnie Gaska of Hudson Falls, Michael and Cathy Gaska of Clinton, NY, Bruce Gaska and his companion Gloria Koslofsky of Schuyler, and Thomas and Susan Gaska of Rhode Island, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jeff was predeceased by his parents, Joe & Josephine, his brother, Christopher Gaska, his sister-in-law, Janet Gaska, and several K-9 and feline companions.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral services to be held on Saturday, January 17th, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum of Holy Trinity Cemetery at 1500 Champlain Avenue, Utica, New York with Father Pawel Zmija officiating. Entombment will take place. There will be no calling hours.
