FRANKFORT – Jeff Nelson, 56, of Frankfort, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, from a brief illness.
He was born and raised in New Hartford, New York, on September 25, 1967, to Jack and Mary Ellen Nelson.
Jeff leaves behind his wife and best friend, Elizabeth (Liz). They were married for 27 years. He also leaves behind the pride and joy of his life, his daughter, Annie.
He is survived by his 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Jeff had an eternal passion for music. He wrote it and also played it. His favorite music was the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan and the Beatles. There are too many more to mention.
Jeff loved his friends dearly and always tried to be there for them, to lend a hand and didn’t expect anything in return.
Jeff had a huge sense of humor. He loved being around trying to make people laugh and not to take life so seriously.
There will be a Service, on Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion, New York.
He was an organ donor and encouraged people to do the same.
“Love you and if I don’t see you later, I will see you on the other side”.
Jeff’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Enea, Ciaccia & Applegate Funeral Directors.
