Jean D. Hart

ILION – Jean D. Hart, age 89, a longtime Ilion resident, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Valley Health Services, Herkimer.

She was born on June 17, 1929, in Herkimer, the daughter of Clarence and Glenora (Butts) De Lavergne and graduated from Herkimer High School . On June 27, 1952, she was married to Frank G. Hart, in Ilion . He passed away on March 5, 2013.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Teresa Hart, of Lakewood , CA ; her granddaughters, Kelly Wilkerson and Amy Antonio; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband and her son, Donald J. Hart; and her sister, Shirley.

A Contemporary funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 13, 2018, at Applegate – Day & Enea Family Funeral Home, 102 West Street, in Ilion. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery , North Ilion . There are no calling hours.
