ST. JOHNSVILLE- Janis Starr, 63,entered into eternal rest on October 4, 2010 at St. Johnsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
She was born on January 21, 1947 in Little Falls, the daughter of Gordon and Kathleen (Corte) Davis.. She graduated from St. Johnsville High School. She was a member of St. John's Reformed Church.
Survivors include her father Gordon W. Davis of St. Johnsville; her brother William C. Davis and his wife Judith of LeRoy, NY; her aunt Caroline Hayes; numerous nieces and nephews and several cousins. She was predeceased by her mother Kathleen Davis.
In keeping with Janis' wishes there will be no calling hours. A memorial service at St. John's Reformed Church will take place at a later date. The family is being cared for by the Enea Family Funeral Home, St. Johnsville, NY.
