James Allen Mundorff

MOHAWK - James Allen Mundorff, 55, of Mohawk, NY, passed away unexpectedly, on December 26, 2023.
James, or as most called him “Jim” was born on September 7, 1968, to Bruce and Edna Mundorff. Jim went on to obtain his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in construction management and continued to work in the construction field his entire life. No matter what, he would seem to have some kind of project he would be working on.
Ever since Jim was a young boy, one of his biggest passions was motocross. Jim and Bruce would travel to compete and would still watch the races all the way into his last days. Jim was an avid Syracuse basketball, Jets fan and enjoyed all types of motorsports.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Edna, in 2010. Further on, he is survived by his two children, Scott and Melinda Mundorff; long-term partner, Jackie Barone; fury friend, Ryka; brother, Michael and wife, Bernie Mundorff; his loving father, Bruce Mundorff and partner, Jackie Murphy.
While Jim left us too soon, he will forever be remembered by his friends and family.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Rd., Ilion, NY. Spring burial will be at Mohawk Cemetery, II, Vickerman Hill, Mohawk, NY.
Jim’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Enea, Ciaccia & Applegate Funeral Directors (315-894-8000).
