Mrs. Hilda Marosek, 89, of Little Falls, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday afternoon, October 29, 2003 in Little Falls Hospital. She was born on January 7, 1914 in Germany a daughter of the late Charles F. and Bertha (Heigeris) Gutzeit. She was last employed with Melrose Slipper Factory in Little Falls. She joined hands in marriage with Charles F. Marosek on June 1, 1935 in St. Mary's Parish House, Little Falls, a blessed and joyous union of 56 years until his passing on June 10, 1991. Hilda was a devoted member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Little Falls and was also a member of the Lady's Aide. Mrs. Marosek proved through her kind and generous ways to be a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In her leisure time she enjoyed cooking and sewing. Survivors include a son, Charles F. Marosek, III and wife Shirley of Greenville, TX, a daughter, Sandra Marosek and husband Roger Bradford of Great Falls,Virginia, grandchildren, Scott Marosek and wife Kate, Charles Marosek, IV and wife Suzanne and Sandra Marosek-Dages and husband Donald; seven great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving is a dear friend, Frances Mihevic of Little Falls. She was preceded in death by a brother, Oscar Lutzeit, four sisters, Ella Wagner, Martha Miller, Jane Sheehey, Alma Potts. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls on Sunday, November 2, 2003 from 3-6 p.m. Hilda's funeral will commence at 10:30am from the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 3, 2003 where prayer will be offered and at 11 am from Christ Lutheran Church, Little Falls with the Rev. James Paulson, pastor, officiating. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer. Kindly consider contributions in honor of Hilda to the Christ Lutheran Church.
