Hilda Dejesus

HERKIMER/NYC - Ms. Hilda (Perez) DeJesus, age 81, currently of Herkimer, and formerly of New York City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, August 16, 2017.

Born in Puerto Rico on October 17, 1935, Hilda was the daughter of the late Segundo Mendez and Oria Perez. She moved with her family stateside when she was a teenager and settled in New York City. At one time she was married to Mr. Pedro DeJesus, and together, they raised a family.

Hilda was a beloved madre y abuela...s urvivors include her devoted children, Orlando DeJesus, Elba VanAlst and Margaret Escobar; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family members and friends.
