Henry Sienkiewicz

Henry J. (Hank) Sienkiewicz, 85 formerly of 5499 State Route 5, East Herkimer, passed away on Monday February 9, 2004 at the Mohawk Valley Nursing Home, Ilion, NY. Survivors include his daughter, Diane Vandawalker of Herkimer; a brother, Benjamin Sienkiewicz of Tennessee; a sister, Wanda Harrod and husband Gerald (Ziggy) of Little Falls; a grandson Andrew Vandawalker of Ilion; and several nieces, nephews & cousins and in-laws. He was pre-deceased by a sister; Evelyn Zieman. Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 12, 2004 at 9:15 am from the Holleran - Enea Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer and a 10:00 am from the Church of Sts. Anthony & Joseph's where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Robert S. Shinos, pastor. Spring interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Wednesday February 11, 2004 from 6-8 pm. Members of the Herkimer K of C are asked to meet at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm for services. Members of the Michael S. Pliseck VFW Post # 4915 are asked to meet at the funeral home Wednesday Evening At 7:00 pm for services. All memorial contributions may be made to the Ilion Fire Fighters. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
