Helene Harper

Helene B. Harper, 89 a long time Salisbury Center resident, passed away on Tuesday March 15, 2005, at Little Falls Hospital. She was born December 6, 1915 in Dolgeville the daughter of the late Harry J. & Agnes A. (Fischer) Lenz. Helene was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School. Her marriage to Willard M. Harper took place on November 2, 1935 in St. Johnsville. The couple shared a blessed union of 67 years until the passing of Mr. Harper on December 26, 2002. Mrs. Harper was of the Presbyterian faith. Survivors include a son; Brian Harper and friend Jodie Moore of Salisbury Center, a daughter-in-law; Penny Harper of Salisbury Center, 5 grandchildren; Brian Harper and fianc?e Nikki of Salisbury, Darci Taylor and husband James of Schenectady, Brad Harper of Dolgeville, Douglas Harper and wife Donna of Richmond, VA., & Laurie Didone and husband Dick of Oswego, NY, several great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son Douglas R. Harper and 2 sisters; Agnes & Gertrude. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Salisbury Rural Cemetery at a date and time to be announced. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Roberts & Enea family Funeral Home, 3 Faville Ave., Dolgeville, NY.
