Helena Bundrick

ILION-Mrs. Helena E. Bundrick, 91, formerly of Prindle Apartments, Ilion, most recently of Valley Health Services, Herkimer, passed away on Sunday morning, November 4, 2007 in Little Falls Hospital. She was born on September 1, 1916 in Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth (Herrmann) Hammersmith, and graduated from Cathedral High School in the Bronx. In 1938, Helena was united in marriage with William Bundrick. Mr. Bundrick passed away on August 15, 2001. Helena considered taking care of her home and family a priority in her life. She attended the Annunciation Church, Ilion. Helena enjoyed bowling and crocheting in her earlier years and most recently enjoyed going to casinos during the time she lived in Arizona. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. Survivors include her beloved family; two daughters and sons in law: Carol and George Bracken of Ilion and Barbara and Donald Senter of Arizona and Long Island; three sons and daughters in law: Richard and Barbara Bundrick of Arizona, Lawrence and Carol Bundrick of Long Island, and Michael and Michelle Bundrick of Florida; fifteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters: Katherine Goss, Elizabeth Hill and Marie Walsh. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home, 102 W. St., Ilion, on Wednesday, Nov. 7th, 2007 from 5-8 p.m. Mrs. Bundrick?s funeral will commence at 9:15 am on Thursday, Nov. 8th, from the chapel of the funeral home where a prayer service will be offered and at 10:00 am from Annunciation Church, West St., Ilion, with the Rev. Alfred Lamanna, officiating. Procession will follow to Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frankfort where committal prayers will be offered. Kindly consider memorial offerings to a charity of your choosing.
