Helen Maniacek

LITTLE FALLS-Mrs. Helen Maniacek, 89, a longtime resident of Burt Road, most recently of Valley Health Services, Herkimer passed away on Saturday morning, Oct. 25, 2008 at that facility. She was born on March 2, 1919, daughter of the late Andrew and Paiza Yaneshak and educated in Little Falls schools. She lived the greater part of her life in Little Falls. In August of 1946, she was united in marriage with Sam Maniacek, he passed away in August of 1984. Helen was last employed with UNIVAC, Utica and was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Little Falls. Survivors include her brother: Michael Yaneshak and wife Marion of Schuyler and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Theodosia Jago. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 10 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home (Little Falls). Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9-10 am prior to the service. Procession will follow to Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Little Falls where interment will take place.
