Heather M. Jowett-Gantz

Heather M. Jowett-Gantz, age 45 of Ilion, Town of German Flatts, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Titan Homes of Sangerfield, NY.

Heather was born on July 9th, 1981, in Ilion, the daughter of Steven & Donna (Blaise) Jowett and attended Ilion Golden Bombers school. On December 17, 2023, she was married to Joshua A Gantz, in Frankfort NY. Heather was employed at Titan Homes as a dry wall finisher for 3 years. Mrs. Jowett-Gantz, enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed camping, rollerblading, dancing, singing, riding her four-wheeler, playing cards with family and walks on the trail with her husband Joshua.

Surviving family members include her husband, Joshua; her mother Donna, her one & only baby girl, Kaytlyn Dennis and her husband Brian of Little Falls, her sons; Dakota Jowett and fiancé Brooke Stutts of Kentucky, Jeramie Carpenter Jr. (Fatty Fat) and fiancé Kyaih Palmeroni of Ohio, NY, Robert Carpenter (Lovey) of Mohawk, and Joshua A. Gantz Jr. of Ilion. Heather also leaves 10 beautiful grandchildren she loved dearly; Antonio Jowett (Nani’s Love Bug), Paisley Jowett (Nani’s Jane Girl), Mylah Dennis (Nani’s Lovey), Ameliyah Dennis (Nani Fatty McGee), Saywer Dennis (Nani’s Forehead), Hardyn Dennis (Nani’s Bean), Severyn Jowett-Stutts, Atlas Jowett-Stutts, Hudson Carpenter (Nani’s Chunk), and her anticipated grandchild. Her sisters; Melody Wilcox and husband Mark Wilcox Sr. of Ilion, Carol Dennis and husband Jeff Dennis of Winfield, her brothers; Steven Jowett Jr. and Vanessa Jowett of Ilion, Fred Covey of Ilion, her father in-law Carl Gantz, mother in-law April Gantz, brother in-laws; Jeremiah Gantz, Joseph Gantz, Thomas Jeffries and her sister in-law Ebony Franklin. Heather is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. 

She was predeceased by her father Steven J. Jowett Sr., her grandfather, Donald K. Blaise Sr., and nephew Jeffrey Dennis.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours, Friday, July 17, 2026, from 10:00am - 12:00pm at the Enea Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion, NY 13357. Heathers funeral service will commence at 12:00pm, with Reverend Robert Wollaber officiating, a funeral procession will follow to the East Schuyler Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
