Mr. Harry A. Van Wagner 95 of 29 Dolge Avenue, died Tuesday evening June 21, 2005 at Valley Health Services in Herkimer, where he had been a patient since March 22nd. He was born in Mineola, New York on February 20, 1910 the son of Frank W. and Josephine (Zerniko) Van Wagner and was a graduate of Mineola High school, class of 1928. He furthered his education by attending RPI College. His marriage to the former Irma Clicquennoi took place on July 14, 1936 in Sodus, New York. Mrs. Van Wagner predeceased him on May 18, 1998. Harry was employed for over thirty years with the Sun Oil Company of Oceanside, New York, retiring as a supervisor in 1971. He and his wife then moved to Dolgeville, where they enjoyed traveling throughout the Adirondacks and the Piseco area. Surviving him is a Son and his wife John and Vivien Van Wagner of Syosset, NY, his Daughters and their husbands, Barbara and Vincent Godleski of Califon, New Jersey, Joann and Robert Vetter of Oakdale, New York, his Grandchildren, Eric Godleski, Kevin Godleski, Kristen Godleski & Teri Roman, his Great Grandchildren, Aubreigh Godleski, Couper Godleski, Madison Godleski, Rachel Godleski, Karissa Vincze and Alexa Vincze. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 25, 2005 at 12 Noon at the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville. Burial will follow in the Dolgeville Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to the S & S Ambulance Corps PO Box 441 Salisbury Center, NY 13454 or to the Dolgeville ?
