LITTLE FALLS – Mrs. Harriet E. Green passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, with the loving support of her beloved family.
Harriet was born on April 4, 1928, in Little Falls, New York. She was the daughter of the late Marco and Dena (Jones) Dandrea. She resided her entire life at the family homestead on West Shore Street, in Little Falls, namely 96 years minus two weeks. This heritage was something that Harriet and her family were extremely proud of. She attended Little Falls schools. She was of the Catholic faith. For many years she worked as a box maker at Allegro Shoe Company, in Little Falls.
She was united in marriage to her husband, Rosario “Ross” Green and he passed away on February 5, 1982.
We will always love and remember mom for her passion of coffee, hot peppers, bread and sloppy dishes, as well as her unconditional love of family. She was indeed most pleased to have company at any given time.
Surviving is her beloved family: her children, Russell Green and his wife, Susan, of Roseville, California, Richard Green and his wife, Mary Ann, of Little Falls and Phil Green and his wife, Mary, of Little Falls. Her very close family members are Donald, Pete and Joe Lawrence. She was blessed with several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Mary; and a son-in-law, Nick.
Harriet was predeceased by her parents, Marco and Dena; her husband, Rosario “Ross” Green; her two daughters, Cheryl Liscio and Mary Anne Wheeler; her sister, Mary Parese; and her brother, Daniel Dandrea.
Harriet loved to remember the children at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In lieu of flowers, it is with this very special memory in mind that we ask that memorial contributions in her honor be considered to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Envelopes for this purpose are available at the Enea Family Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street, in Little Falls, New York and at 11:00 a.m., at Holy Family Parish Church, corner of East Main and John Streets, in Little Falls, where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
