LITTLE FALLS: Harold Herringshaw,82,of Little Falls, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Little Falls.
He was born on November 4, 1932 in Salisbury Center; son of the late Ernest and Ruth (Petzel) Herringshaw.On July 3, 1976 he was united in marriage to Ruth Johnson (Burchell) Harold was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed at Daniel Green in Dolgeville as a Truck Driver. He especially enjoyed working there as well as working on cars and talking to people. His nickname was "Smiley".
Survivors include his wife of 39 years Ruth; his children: Vicki, Melissa, Sandra, Suzanne, Deborah, Sharon and Vickie; his sister Gertrude, his brother Herman, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Patricia; his stepson Fred; his brothers Benjamin and Carl and his sister Lila.
A graveside service will take place at 10:30am on October 16, 2015 at Salisbury Rural Cemetery.
