FRANKFORT - Mr. Gregory Allen "Greg" Seelbach, age 50, passed away on Friday evening, July 14, 2017, at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, after a brief illness.
Born on June 14, 1967, in Ilion, Gregory is the son of Robert and Rosalie (Miller) Seelbach. He was raised and educated locally and was a graduate of Ilion High School. He was wed to the former Melissa Woodcock and the two shared in a loving union until her passing on July 17, 2013.
Greg was an outdoorsman who spent his time hunting, fishing, golfing and working construction for various locales throughout the Mohawk Valley. Nothing brought him more joy than time spent playing with his eight beloved grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Sarah and Cody Mead, Courtney Seelbach and Alicia Seelbach; his grandchildren, Cameron, Brody, and Levi Mead, Mariah Jordan, and Chance Seelbach, and Caydence, Warn, and Baylee Tiberio; his parents, Robert and Rosalie of Texas; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Brian Seelbach, Darren and Carrie Seelbach, and Harold and Karen Seelbach; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Patrica and Tom Pias, Michelle Crane and Ronald Niznik, and Donna and Derek Edmonds; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Seelbach, and his nephew, Brian Seelbach, Jr.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend Greg’s calling hours, which will take place on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 10:00AM – 12 NOON at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Town of Frankfort, Ilion, NY (315) 894-8000. Greg’s funeral service and Celebration of Life will commence on Monday at 12 NOON at the funeral home, immediately upon the conclusion of visitation. Burial will take place in Armory Hill Cemetery.
