Gordon Moore

Gordon F. ?Jumbo? Moore 62 a formerly of Salisbury Center and who has been a resident in the Van Allen Nursing home and the Mohawk Valley Nursing home and most recently at the St. Luke?s Home, died their on Saturday December 16, 2006. He was born in the Town of Salisbury on April 7, 1944 the son of the late Gordon F. and Esther (Ives) Moore Sr. and was educated in schools in Salisbury and Dolgeville. Gordon was employed by the North Hudson woodcraft Company of Dolgeville for many years retiring from their due to his health many years ago. He was of the Methodist faith, and personally enjoyed fishing and working in his garden growing many different vegetables. He is survived by his Sisters Jean Cooter and Sharon Failing both of Syracuse, and Mary Ann Switzer of Frankfort Nieces and Nephews, and several cousins. Graveside services will be held Thursday December 22, 2006 at 3PM in the Curtis Cemetery, Town of Salisbury. Rev Joseph Albrecht, Pastor of the Salisbury Center United Methodist Church will officiate. There are No calling hours.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville.
