Ilion: Mrs. Gloria M. (Bokowski) Jones, 83, of Ilion, passed away on Saturday evening April 5, 2014 at the Siegenthaler Center.
Born in Johnstown, NY on May 11, 1930, Gloria was the daughter of the late George and Clara (Burchuiski) Bokowski. She was educated in Herkimer schools and on February 26, 1949 she was united in marriage to Merle Jones, sharing 63 years of a loving and committed relationship until his passing on March 29, 2012.
Gloria loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren and in her spare time she enjoyed swimming.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Karen Jones, Larry and Linda Jones, Ray and Marie Jones, Paul and Diane Jones, and Kenneth and Heidi Jones; a daughter and son-in-law, Kristine and Paul Jenkins; grandchildren, Nannette, Michael, Rebecca, Jennifer, Sarah, Austin, Nikki, Renee and Michala; step grandchildren, Stephanie, Jason, Josh and Kristen; several great grandchildren; a living brother, George Bokowski and a living sister, Marilyn Ackler.

In keeping with Gloria's wishes, there will be no calling hours, and burial will be private. The family is being served by Harry J. and Kevin E.
