FRANKFORT-NEWTONVILLE - Gladys Marie Hyde, age 90, of Newtonville, NY, formerly of Frankfort, died on August 2, 2010, in Worcester, MA, with her family by her side.
Gladys was born in Frankfort, NY, where she was an Honors graduate of Frankfort High School. She was a devoted mother, an enthusiastic gardener, an independent businesswoman and a talented domestic engineer. Gladys was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Latham, NY, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was also a long-standing member and former Regent of the Mohawk Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Gladys loved ice cream, baked ham, fresh tomatoes, strawberries, peaches, chocolate and cake. Her daughter, Joyce, will be forever grateful for her patience, support and guidance.
A private Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
