LITTLE FALLS – Mrs. Geraldine E. Walrath, 89, of 25 Porteus Street, Little Falls, New York, passed away peacefully, on Friday morning, December 13th, 2024, at Little Falls Hospital.
She was born on January 20th, 1935, in Middleville, New York, a daughter of the late Gerald A. and Mary E. (Harper) Bronson. She was educated locally and married David F. Walrath, Sr., on January 12th, 1963. The marriage was held at Dolgeville Methodist Church and after 49 loving years Pa passed away, on February 14th, 2012.
She is survived by her beloved family including her children, a daughter, Kathy Jackson; and her sons David and his wife Janice Walrath and Steven Walrath; grandchildren, Brooke and Durk Oord, Matthew Walrath and Courtney, Michael Mosher and Rossa, Brandon Mosher and Tricia, David Walrath, III and Harley, Melissa Pagayanan, Kayla and Brandon Thomas, Karley & Bryan Inman, Andrew Barry, Tiffaney Barry, Cansandra Barry, and great-grandchildren, Katie Walrath, Landon Mosher, Addison Oord, Lucas Mosher, Noah Thomas, Mason Inman, Cadance Gardner, Chloe Gardner, Austin Gardner, Brantley Barry, Emily Barry, and Liam Barry, as well as many nieces, and nephews from California, Kentucky, and surrounding area.
She was predeceased by her parents, Mary & Gerald; her husband, David F. Walrath, Sr.; her brothers, Russell Smith and Charles Smith; her sister-in-law, Patricia Smith; and many brothers and sisters-in-law.
The family is grateful to Dr. Richard Nocella for his many years of care giving and to the 3rd Floor Staff at Little Falls Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street, in Little Falls, New York and will consist of Calling hours on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. After the calling hours we will gather to celebrate Geraldine’s life at the Little Falls Elks Lodge. Relatives and friends are invited to join at calling hours and then at dinner to follow.
