Obituary
Little Falls: Geraldine Verri, 82, of Little Falls, passed away on December 11, 2009 at Alpine Nursing Center.
She was born on December 23, 1927, a daughter of the late Henry and Dora (Hayes) Eysaman. Her family immigrated to this country in the early 1700s. Geraldine attended local schools, and was a lifelong resident of Little Falls.
She was united in marriage to Gino Verri, who passed away in 1976. Also preceding her in death were her sons, Fiorello and Gene. Geraldine is survived by a son: Henry and his wife Jane; three grandchildren: Marc and his wife Robyn, Devin, and Jessica; two great-grandsons: Matthew and Nathan; and many nieces and nephews.
Geraldine was a wonderful mother, always smiling. She loved animals and bird watching, and loved to read Agatha Christie novels. All who knew Geraldine called her "Gerry Verri."
At Gerry's request, there will be no calling hours or services. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Gino, at Inghams Mills Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the Alpine Nursing Center staff for the kind care given to Gerry during her stay with them.
