Gerald Dillenbeck

Gerald I. Dillenbeck, 62, of 104 N. Washington St., Herkimer, (Folts Home), and formerly of Oneida, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at Little Falls Hospital. He was born September 28, 1940, in Little Falls, the son of the Edna (Glover) Dillenbeck Myers and the late Ivan Dillenbeck and was educated in Middleville schools. At one time he lived in St. Johnsville, Salisbury, Oneida and lately the Herkimer area. His marriage to Shirley Fells took place on September 30, 1995, in Oneida. Survivors include his mother, Edna of Rome; his wife, Shirley of Oneida; a son, Gary Dillenbeck and fiancee Jennifer Brat of St. Johnsville; two daughters, Nancy McCarthy and husband Patrick of Oppenheim and Sally Dillenbeck and fiancee Randy Doxtater of Oppenheim; a sister, Carolyn Froelick of Oneida; six grandchildren, Dennis McCarthy, Elaine McCarthy, Craig McCarthy, Amanda Dillenbeck, Kayla Doxtater and Tiffany Doxtater; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 25, at 11 a.m. from the Enea Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls. Interment will follow at the Sherrell-Kenwood Cemetery, Oneida. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the services.
