George Congdon

George Andrew Congdon 65 of 132 Millers Grover Road Dolgeville, died unexpectedly Thursday February 8, 2007 in Little Falls Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack at home. George was born on July 13, 1941 in the town of Danube, the son of Ernest W. and Mildred Congdon and was educated in school in Stratford. He was married to the former Rose Stanley on October 27, 1972 in Salisbury Center, she predeceased him on January 2, 2005. George was employed throughout the years as a farm hand on local area farms. He was an avid CB radio operator using the handle ?Boozer?. He is survived by his Brothers and their wives Ernest W. and Janet Congdon Jr. of Curtis (Town of Salisbury) Ross and Gladys Congdon of Oppenheim, his Sisters Helene Johnson of Oppenheim, Beverly Rasbach of Dolgeville and Flossie and her husband Lyle Seelbach of Ilion, a Son Daryl Congdon and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters Theresa Mae Johnson and Rebecca Singer. Graveside memorial services will be held in the Spring in Curtis Cemetery, town of Salisbury, with his nephew Rodney Congdon pastor of the Williams Memorial Church officiating.
