Genevieve Brower

Genevieve Brower, 89 of the Mohawk Valley Nursing Home and formerly of 124 Allen Heights, St. Johnsville, passed away Friday May 19, 2006 at the nursing home. She was born December 10, 1916 in St. Johnsville, the daughter of the late Howard Nellis, Sr., and Carrie Oeser Nellis and was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School. Her marriage to Robert ?Fred? Brower took place on August 29, 1940 in Fultonville. The couple shared a blessed union of 58 years until the passing of Mr. Brower on January 24, 1998. Genevieve was last employed at the former Brown Brothers, in St. Johnsville. Survivors include many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by 2 brothers, Albert Nellis and Howard Nellis, Jr., & 2 sisters, Grace Sullivan and Alberta Skrzek. Graveside services will be held on Saturday June 3, 2006 at 2:30 pm at West St. Johnsville Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY.
