Gary Lyons

Gary E. Lyons, 57, of St. Johnsville passed away on Wednesday October 10, 2007. He was born January 21, 1950 in Little Falls the son of Viola M. (Snell) Lyons and the late George H. Lyons and was a graduate of Owen D. Young High School, class of 1968. Gary was a United States Navy veteran, enlisting on September 9, 1969 and was honorably discharged on September 1, 1971 with the rank of FN. Mr. Lyons was last employed at Cranesville Block Company in Johnstown, NY. Survivors include his mother, Viola of St. Johnsville, two daughters, Katina Cogan and husband Terry of Little Falls, and Erika Lyons of St. Johnsville, a son Eric Moyer of St. Johnsville, his loving companion, Judy Lyons of St. Johnsville, two step-daughters, Kayla Semple and husband Christopher of PA., and Anastasia Smith of Long Island, NY, a step-son, Eric Schuyler of St. Johnsville, a brother, George Lyons and wife Freida of St. Johnsville, a sister, Sandy Brewer and husband David of Ilion, NY, six grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial service on Wednesday October 17, 2007 at 7:00 pm from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY. Visitation will be Wednesday October 17, 2007 from 5 pm until the time of the services. In lieu of flowers, please make all memorial contributions may be made to S.A.VA.C. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
