Gary D. Kane 78, of St. Johnsville, NY passed away on March 17, 2023 (St. Patrick's Day) a special day.
Mr. Kane was born on March 26, 1944, the son of the late John and Ellen (O'Packi) Kane Little Falls, NY.
Gary was an Army Veteran, a member of the Eighth Army overseas (Korea) in the D M Z and received the N.D.S.M (National Defense Service Medal).
He obtained an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army in 1973.
Survivors include his widow, Kathleen, a daughter Stephanie Kane, a son Christopher Grant, a daughter-in-law Connie Grant and three grandsons, Benjamin, Nicholas and Zachary Grant. Two sisters Barbara Hatfield of Indiana, and Cynthia Ferjanic of Ballston Spa, two brothers John Kane of California and Ronald Kane of Little Falls. A special friend Sean Cruz and grandpets, Hamish, Nekko, Diggs, Brick, Onyx and Misha.
Also several nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was proceeded in death by a sister Elaine Hadcock and a brother Robert Kane.
In keeping with Gary's wishes there are no calling hours.
The Kane family has entrusted final arrangements to the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St. St. Johnsville, NY.
