ILION – Gary A. Beauharnois, age 65, of W. Clark St., Ilion, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020, at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown, NY.
He was born on November 9, 1954, in Islip, England, the son of Elric J. Beauharnois and Leota (Givens) Beauharnois. Gary attended Monroe High School and East High School, Rochester. He was a veteran serving in the US Navy. Mr. Beauharnois was employed as a supervisor of the docks, at Mele Manufacturing Co., Utica. Gary attended the Church of the Annunciation and was a member of the Ilion American Legion.
Surviving family members include his girl friend, Loretta Hall, with whom he resided; his sons, Michael Beauharnois and his wife, Allyson, of Binghamton and Jasmine R. Beauharnois, of Ilion; his stepson, Duane Farr; his brother, Charles J. Beauharnois, of Ilion; his sister, Peggy and Glenn Dixon, of Arthur, Ontario, Canada; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents; and his sister, Ricki Duffy.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
