Frieda Watkins

Frieda M. Watkins, 91, of Dolgeville, passed away on Saturday morning January 15, 2005 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born March 10, 1913 in Kellerville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Martin & Nancy (Myres) Mason and was educated in Clayton Illinois schools. Her marriage to Jesse Watkins took place on November 6, 1942 in Palmyra, Missouri. Mrs. Watkins was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Dolgeville. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Jesse, a daughter, Sally Byerly and husband Pastor Leonard Byerly of Dolgeville, 2 grandchildren, Nathan Byerly and wife Nikki of Camp Hill, PA. & Caleb Byerly and wife Becky of Salisbury, Maryland, a great granddaughter, Olivia Grace Byerly and many nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 18, 2005 at 12:00 noon from the Grace Baptist Church, 12 Van Buren St., Dolgeville, with her son-in-law Reverend Leonard Byerly, officiating. Following the services a luncheon will be held at the church hall in memory of Frieda. Spring interment will be in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills, NY. Friends and relatives may call at the Grace Baptist Church on Tuesday January 18, 2005 from 11:00 am until the time of the services. In lieu of flowers please make all memorial contributions to the Grace Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Enea Funeral Home, 24 W.
