Obituary
Frank Zambrotto, 83 of Oppenheim, passed away on Monday November 8, 2004 at his home.
He was born July 23, 1921 in Jamaica, NY the son of the late Michael & Rose (Salvatore) Zambrotto, and was educated in New York City.
Mr. Zambrotto was a World War II Army veteran, enlisting on August 26, 1942 and was honorably discharged on September 26, 1944.
For many years Frank worked at Werners Repair Shop in Jamaica, New York. While living in Oppenheim, Frank owned and operated the Trading Post General Store.
Mr. Zambrotto was of the catholic faith.
Survivors include his life partner, Audrey Miller of Oppenheim, 2 sons, Frank M. Zambrotto of West Virginia, & Arthur Zambrotto of New York City, Audrey children and their families, Elizabeth Petkovsek and fiancee Wayne Lynch and their children Taylor and Lyndsey Lynch of Oppenheim and Jeffrey Miller and wife Shelli, and their children James, Aaron and Karli Miller of Oppenheim, and several nieces, nephews & cousins.
He was pre-deceased by 6 brothers, Mickey, Jimmy, Johnie, Carl, Joey & Louie & 3 sisters, Angelina, Sadie & Lucy.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday November 12, 2004 at 11:00 am from the Smith ? Woody and Enea Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY. Burial will be in St. Johnsville Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Thursday November 11, 2004 from 6-8 pm.
