Mr. Francis Edward Skrzynecki 72 of 3917 State Hwy 10 St. Johnsville (Town of Ephratah), died Christmas morning December 25, 2006 in Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville after suffering an apparent heart attack at home. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 17, 1934 the son of Francis and Alexandra (Molinkiewicz) Skrzynecki and was a graduate of Queens High School. He furthered his education by obtaining an associates degree from New York Community College. His marriage to the former Dorothea Gajdark took place on May 21, 1955 in Maspeth, Queens County. They celebrated 51 years of marriage this past May. Francis was employed by the Washburn Dairy Company of Gloversville as an inventory control clerk and was still actively employed by them. He was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witnesses of Dolgeville, and his personal interests were in camping and the love of the ocean and maritime scenery. He is survived by his wife Dorothea of 51 years, his daughters and their husbands, Susan and Harold Watson and Diane and Rudy Riscen both of RD St. Johnsville, his Grandchildren Jennifer Andrews, Travis Riscen and Rebekah Watson. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday December 30, 2006 at 2PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witnesses Brockett Road Dolgeville. Leader David Tarbox will officiate. There are No Calling Hours. Francis may be remembered with a memorial contribution to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witnesses in his memory. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville.
