Frances R. Mihevc

LITTLE FALLS – Mrs. Frances R. Mihevc, 99, passed away in the comfort of her Little Falls home, on January 18, 2024.
She was born on November 19, 1924, in Granville, New York, a daughter of the late Frank and Teresa (Ponda) Dudla and was a graduate of Granville High School. She went on to attend and graduate from St. Mary’s Nursing School, in Amsterdam.
Her marriage to Robert Mihevc took place on September 11, 1948, at All Saints Church, Granville. Mr. Mihevc passed away in 1981.
She was last employed as a registered nurse with Little Falls Hospital and had worked in private duty nursing for many years. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish and the Rosarians.
She is survived by her children: Bob Mihevc and wife, Sandie, of East Herkimer, Mike Mihevc and wife, Jean, Andy Mihevc and wife, Cindy and Tom Mihevc and wife, Gale, all of Little Falls; two sisters, Marge Thomas and Dorothy Nelson; grandchildren, Matthew Mihevc (Mary Malowicki), Megan Mihevc (Mackenzie Cleary), Jacob Mihevc (Janet Colpo), Mark Mihevc (Sarah Brinski), Kate Edwards (Brian), Luke Mihevc (Jessica), Joseph Mihevc, Ella Rovereto (Mark), Ben Mihevc (Eileen Liu) and Paul Mihevc (Katie); 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many past and present grand dogs.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; two sisters, Ann Braw and Teresa Niles; and two brothers, Frank and Paul Dudla.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Holy Family Parish Church, corner of East Main & John Streets, Little Falls, where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Spring interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. There are no calling hours. Everyone is invited to attend a gathering after the Mass, at the American Legion, 100 W. Main St., Little Falls, NY 13365.
Memorial contributions in loving memory of Frances may be considered to the Holy Family Parish, 763 E. Main St., Little Falls, NY 13365.
