Mrs. Florence Edna Bower 78 of 16 ½ South Main Street Dolgeville, died unexpectedly Thursday December 20th, 2012 at Little Falls Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Salisbury on March 25, 1934 the daughter of Asa and Jennie Siver and was educated in Stratford Schools.
Her marriage to Robert W. Bower took place on April 5, 1953 in the Methodist parsonage in Salisbury Center. Mr. Bower predeceased her on May 3, 1990.
Florence was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Little Falls, and personally enjoyed collectables of all kinds.
She is survived by a Son George Bower with whom she lived, a daughter and her companion Christine Bower and Walter Piffer of Salisbury Center, her brothers Ronald Siver, George Siver and Raymond Siver all of Dolgeville, her sisters June Slabe and Rita Young both of Little Falls, her grandchildren Jennifer Hart, Frederick Randall, Kevin Rosette-Jensen and Scott Rosette-Jensen, her great grandchildren Hayley Hart, Ayden Hart, Ethan Hart, Madisyn Carpenter and Kiera Rosette-Jensen. Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by a step-sister Leona Carpenter.
Graveside services will be held in the Spring of 2013 in the Dolgeville Cemetery. There are no Calling hours.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Brian A. Roberts of the Roberts & Enea Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville.
