Faith A. “Sissy” McFarland, age 21, left this world all too soon when she and her beloved, Sean Bracken, were tragically taken on Sunday evening, August 21, 2022, in a motor vehicle accident.
Born in Ottumwa, Iowa on August 14, 2001, Faith is the daughter of Edward and Rebecca (Ilowiecki) Koloski. She grew up locally and was a 2019 graduate from OESJ Central Schools.
For the past few years, Sissy was employed with the Deli Department at Herkimer Walmart; a position which brought her much joy through her interaction with fellow employees and customers alike.
Faith was blessed to find love in Sean Bracken and the couple was truly inseparable. They lived together, worked together, laughed together and even though they only had a couple of years together on this earth, they managed to fit in a lifetime of memories. It is only fitting that they left this world together; a testament to their inseparable union.
Faith was a loving, family oriented girl, with an infectious smile and a zest for life. She had a love for music and was at her happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. She will be missed but never forgotten.
She is survived by her doting parents, Rebecca and Edward Koloski of Oppenheim; her siblings, Savannah McFarland and Kai Koloski; her grandparents, Faith Ilowiecki, Raymond and Ling Koloski and Toni McFarland; her aunts and uncles, Lisa Koloski and Chip French, John and Cheryl Ilowiecki and Shawn King and Yvonne Conway; along with many cousins and good friends.
She was predeceased by her “Pa” Bill.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend the combined calling hours for both Faith and Sean on Wednesday evening, August 31, 2022 from 3:00PM – 7:00PM at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street, Herkimer, NY (315) 866-1011.
