Faith Kull

Faith Kull, loving wife, mother, child and sister, lost her long battle with cancer at the young age of 46 on August 15th, 2026, at her home in Ilion, NY with her loving family at her side.

 Faith was born in Newton, New Jersey on September 13, 1979. She grew up in Plymouth, Pennsylvania and graduated from West Side Career and Technical Center in 1997.

Faith loved music and pursued her personal passion for music as the lead singer of the band Fuzzy Monkey. Her deep love for animals led her to working for a doggy day care center for several years. In 2015 she was employed by MetLife as a Quality Analyst in the Dental Claims Department. Faith loved the beach, fishing, video games, Dungeons and Dragons, dance parties, interior design, the Twilight series and PICKLES! She was a devoted fan of the Utica Comets, especially goalie Thatcher Demko.

In October of 2013 Faith married the love of her life, Frank D. Desmond. Faith is survived by her spouse, Frank, her four children; Michael Desmond, Morgan Desmond, Gwendolyn Desmond and Ophelia Desmond, her parents, Troy and Lynn Kull, her brother, Troy Kull and his children Tyler and Emily Kull, her mother-in-law, Linda Desmond, her sister-in-laws Joelle and Dave Biamonte, Danielle and Mike McKee and her brother-in-law Corey Desmond.

All of Faith’s family, friends and co-workers are welcome to her celebration of life on September 12th, 2026, at 1:00 PM at 315 Barringer Road, Ilion, NY. Please bring all of your memories and stories to share. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wolf Mountain Nature Center at 562 Hopkins Crandall Road, Smyrna, NY 13464.
