Eric W. Drews

MOHAWK – Mr. Eric W. Drews, age 68, of Mohawk, New York, passed away peacefully in his own home on August 20th, 2025, after a bout with cancer.

He was born in New Jersey on July 16th, 1957, a son of the late William “Bill” Paul Drews and Lois Edel (Brandt) Drews. He graduated from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa with a bachelor’s degree. He was a computer programmer. He served as a volunteer fireman for many years and loved the outdoors.

He was predeceased by his parents as mentioned above, and his sister Ruth Anita Drews.

He is survived by his brothers, Paul C. Drews (Kathleen Tyau) of Gaston, Oregon, Carl W. Drews of Longmount, Colorado, and Michael D. Drews (Tara French) of Sandy, Utah, and a brother-in-law, John Riggs of Springfield, Missouri, as well as nieces, nephews, and dear friends Harry E. Watkins (Jennifer Weeks) of Mohawk, New York, and Deb Wiley of Des Moines, Iowa.
