MOHAWK - Emberlynn Opal Elaine Arrigo, precious daughter of Ashley Ingraham and Francis Arrigo, III, was born on August 4, 2025, and passed peacefully in her parents’ arms on August 6th, 2025, at Albany Medical Center NICU. She was only two days old, yet she touched more hearts and changed more lives than most could in a lifetime.
Though her time on Earth was brief, Emberlynn filled our days with strength, courage, happiness, and more love than we ever thought possible. We will forever cherish the sound of her tiny cry, the sight of her father smiling and talking to her as he held her hands, the peace of holding her on her mother’s chest for five precious hours, and the bittersweet moment when her siblings and immediate family met and said goodbye to her. Emberlynn was a beautiful, perfect, mighty little warrior who fought with every breath to stay here with us.
She was named after two very strong women in her mother’s life — her grandmother, Tanya Lynn Ingraham, and her great-grandmother, Elaine Bouck — and she will forever carry their strength in her name and spirit.
Emberlynn is survived by her loving parents; her siblings Hayleigh (13), Celia (9), and Brantlee (8); her maternal grandparents Tanya and Duane Ingraham; maternal aunt Shiann Ingraham and cousin Julianna (4); maternal great-grandparents Elaine and Judson Bouck of Ilion, NY; maternal great-aunt Tiffany Bouck and cousin Jocelynn Pula (14) of Ilion, NY; paternal grandmother April Gay; aunt Angelina Arrigo; and paternal great-grandparents Wanda Dougherty and Donald Lindsay, all of Ilion, NY. She was welcomed into Heaven by her maternal great-grandfather Ingram J. Ingraham, her great-uncle Gary Dennison, her paternal great-grandfather Francis Arrigo Sr., and her mother’s dear friend, Victoria Guyette (Dickenson).
Services of some type will be determined at a later date to allow the family time to grieve and find closure. Instead of traditional funeral services. A public celebration of life may be planned in the future. Donations of flowers, monetary support for the celebration, or food contributions may be arranged through Ashley Ingraham, Tanya Ingraham, Shiann Ingraham, or Tiffany Bouck.
Though our arms ache to hold her again, our hearts are forever full because she was ours — if only for a moment.
Arrangements are with The Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home at 4309 Acme Road in Ilion, New York. (315) 894-8000.
