Obituary
Mrs. Elsie (Chuck) Urich, age 82, a lifelong Little Falls resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, August 29, 2004 in Van Allen's Nursing Home, Little Falls.

She was born on June 24, 1922 in Little Falls a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Selak) Chuck and received her education in Little Falls schools. She was united in marriage with Herbert Urich on October 7, 1942 in St. Mary's Church, Little Falls. Herbert passed away on January 29, 1996. Elsie's last professional employment was with the former P & K Dress Factory in Little Falls. She was a communicant of Holy Family Parish, Little Falls. She was a member of the Little Falls Hospital Guild and the AARP. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Survivors include a son, James Urich and wife Patricia of Penfield; a daughter, Barbara Knox and husband Victor of Richmond, VA; three grandchildren: Brian Knox and wife Katy, Brandon Urich and Christopher Urich; two great grandchildren: Emily and Samuel Knox; in laws: Olga Urich and Joanne Chuck; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Frank Chuck.

In honoring the wishes of Elsie, there will be no public visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial which will commence at 11 am on Thursday morning, Sept. 2, 2004 from Holy Family Parish, corner of E. Main and John Streets, Little Falls. The Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor, will officiate. The family will greet friends in the church vestibule following the Mass. Procession will then follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer where Elsie will be laid to rest with her husband, Herbert.

Kindly consider contributions in her memory to the Holy Family Parish Memorial Fund; envelopes will be available in the church vestibule on Thursday morning.
