Elizabeth Sterusky

Elizabeth M. Sterusky, 89 formerly of Mohawk, passed away on Sunday April 3, 2005 at the Folts Home, Herkimer. She was born November 15, 1915 in Clayville, the daughter of the late Paul & Elizabeth (Draska) Mayton. Elizabeth was educated at a one room school, later from the school in Van Hornesville. Elizabeth was last employed by Remington Rand and MDS in Herkimer. Mrs. Sterusky enjoyed all her many animals she had during her life, also taking walks in the country and picking all sorts of wild flowers. Survivors include one daughter, Eleanor (Tilbe) Baylor and husband Richard of Mohawk, her grandchildren, Richard Baylor, Jr. and wife Kathy of Little Falls, Michael Baylor and wife Denise of Alabama, Laurie Moore and husband Elroy of Mohawk, & Edward & Charles Baylor both of Mohawk, five great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and her feline companion Housewife. She was pre-deceased by her son, Richard Tilbe, a brother and his wife John & Mary Mayton, and two infant brothers. In keeping with Betty's wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, NY.
