Elizabeth Mccluskey

Mrs. Elizabeth A. "Betty" McCluskey, age 85 formerly of 530 Maple Grove Ave., Herkimer passed away on Wednesday morning, January 29, 2003 at Van Allen?s Nursing Home, Little Falls where she had been a resident. Betty was born on August 25, 1917 in Little Falls, the daughter of the late Frank and Alice (McGurn) Shuman. She was educated in Little Falls schools. She was united in marriage with Stanley McCluskey who passed away on December 7, 1981. She worked for several dress shops in the area. She leaves a son, James McMahon of Herkimer, a daughter Barbara McCluskey of Las Vegas, a sister in law, Helen Frye of Fairfield, grandchildren, Shannon Farrell and husband Mark of Ohio, Shawn McMahon and wife Jennifer of Louisiana, a great grandson, Mark Farrell, several nieces including Marsha Peach of Fairfield who was very close to Betty, and several nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Joseph Shuman. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer. Betty's funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Holleran-Enea Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer. Memorial contributions may be made to MOVAC, envelopes may be obtained at the funeral home.
