Herkimer: Elizabeth "Betty" Darling, 80, of N. Prospect Street, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2013 in Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown.
Elizabeth was born on August 19, 1933 in Ilion, a daughter of the late Frank and Maryann (Flannigan) Darling. She was employed as a stenographer at Remington Arms, Ilion, retiring in 1988.
Elizabeth loved reading, watching television, and listening to the radio, but most of all, she loved horses and her cat.
Betty's Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Very Reverend Mark Cunningham in St. Francis de Sales Church, Bellinger Avenue, Herkimer, in the spring at a date and time to be announced.. Burial will then follow in Mohawk Cemetery.
