Elizabeth Cunningham

FORT PLAIN- Elizabeth J. Cunningham, 83, of River Road, entered into eternal rest on Saturday September 13, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. She was born July 15, 1925 in Chestertown, daughter of the late Roscoe and Elizabeth (Alford) Cunningham. She was a life long Operator and Supervisor of the Telephone Company. Survivors include her brother Dr. Charles L. Cunningham and his wife Ila of Illinois; her nephew John Cunningham and his wife Heather of Illinois and her nieces Sue Cary and her husband John of Illinois and Kay Ivie and her husband Rick of Illinois and several great nieces and great nephews; her best friends Wayne and Brenda Looman and Wayne Looman Jr. She was a special friend of the late Marie Best. The family will recieve relatives and friends at the Enea Family Funeral Home (St. Johnsville) from 10-11AM on Thursday September 18, 2008 where a prayer service will be offered at 11AM. Procession will follow to Chestertown Rural Cemetery where she will be laid to rest along side her mother.
