Elaine H. Sirois

HERKIMER – Elaine H. Sirois, age 80, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025, at Valley Health Services, Herkimer, New York. Elaine has been a resident of this area since 2016.

She was born on May 13, 1944, in Jersey City, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Stewart and Elizabeth Edington. As the recipient of a bachelor’s degree, she went on to become a very successful teacher in Raymond, New Hampshire.

Her beloved family survives, children, Stacy Richard (Ross), of Herkimer, and Ryan Sirois (Kathleen), of Virginia, her grandchildren, Avery, Ross, Braysen, and Gunnar Richard, and Caleb Sirois.

Her family will receive relatives and friends at a calling hour, on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at The Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street in Herkimer, New York. A springtime graveside burial service will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer at a future date.
