Mr. Edward William Rachon 73 of 125 West State Street Dolgeville, died Wednesday evening June 16, 2010 at the Aline Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Little Falls, after an extended illness.
He was born in Little Falls, on August 26, 1936 the son of Joseh and Regina (McCluskey) Rachon and was educated in schools in Little Falls and Dolgeville.
His marriage to the former Helen Lynch took lace on Aril 22, 1971 in Palatine Bridge. They celebrated 39 years of marriage this ast Aril.
Ed was emloyed as a driver for Buanno Transortation of Ft. Johnson, New York retiring from there due to his health.
His ersonal interests were in caming and the meticulous care that he gave to his roerty at their residence.
He is survived by his wife Helen, two sons, Edward Jr. and his wife Sue Rachon of Srout Brook, Joseh Rachon and his comanion Glenda of Caroga Lake, his daughters Deborah Clark and her comanion Tim Brown of Dolgeville and Carol Crews of Jacksonville, FL. His Brother John and his wife Jackie Rachon of Dolgeville, a sister Anne Sweet of Farmington, NY 11 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, Nieces & Nehews including 2 Secial Nieces Shirlene Cool and Lynda Loucks , a Secial nehew Thomas Cool, 2 very secial Great Nieces Stacy and Kayla Loucks and a very secial Great Nehew Joshua Loucks, also a an Aunt Helen Frye of Fairfield.
In keeing with his wishes there are No Calling hours or formal funeral service; however a celebration of his Life will be held on Sunday June 27, 2010 at the Dolgeville Fire deartment social room at 1PM. Friends and family are invited.
