PINE LAKE/CANAJOHARIE- Mr. Edward N. Dillenbeck, 77, passed away on July 22, 2011 at Albany Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany.
He was born on November 22, 1933 in Minden, son of the late Joseph and Edith Mary (Nestle) Dillenback.
Edward was a member of the U.S. Army from 1953-1955. He was honorably discharged. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his 3 daughters: Andra Smith, Bonnie Sobol and her husband Joseph and Diana Jackson and her husband Steve; his 6 grandchildren: Charles, Zachary, Alexander, Carolyn, Joseph III and Jenna; and his nieces. He was predeceased by his sister Marion and his brother Glenn.
In keeping with Edward's wishes there are no calling hours. A graveside service will take place at 2pm on Saturday July 30, 2011 at West St. Johnsville Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. Military honors will be presented by the U.S. Army. The family is being cared for by the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, John P. Lewandowski, Funeral Director.
