Edward LeRoy Brown, 65, of Dolgeville passed away on Friday October 5, 2007. He was born October 4, 1942 in Little Falls the son of the late Delaven & Agnes (Williams) Brown and was educated in Little Falls schools, he was married to the former Diane Williams. Mr. Brown was a United States Army veteran. Ed was last employed at the former CP in Utica, NY. He was a member of the D.A.V. and a former Pop Warner Football Coach in Mohawk. Survivors include two sons, Edward Brown and fianc?e Diane Keith of Rome, NY and William Brown and wife Donna of Utica, his loving companion, Sharon Wheeler of Dolgeville and her daughter Erica Olsen of Alexandria, Virginia, four sisters, Pat Steele of New Hartford, Helen Derrick and husband George of Albany, Linda Rothermel and husband Dave of Michigan and Carol Brown and husband Dan Ruffo of Little Falls, two brothers, Art Brown and wife Mary of Oppenheim, and Don Brown and wife Sharon of Waterville, his grandchildren, Amanda, DeLaven, Joshua & Samara Brown, and Robert Vendura, Kristine & Joseph Tavitian and several nieces & nephews. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Donna Bourdage and a brother, Gerald Brown. In keeping with Ed?s wishes his body will be donated to Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, NY. A memorial service to remember Ed will be held Sunday October 21, 2007 at 1:00 pm at the Little Falls Elks Lodge. In lieu of flowers, please make all memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 110 Lomond Court, Utica, NY 13502 or on the Internet at www.diabetes.org . Arrangements are under the direction of the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, NY.
