LITTLE FALLS - Edna Ann Jones (Compton), age 68, died suddenly in the comfort of her home on Friday January 2, 2015.
She was born on March 8, 1946 in Albany, NY and lived in the Mohawk Valley for many years. Her employment varied with several local businesses inclusive to Nash Fuel. She enjoyed circle word, Sudoku puzzles, and gardening. She just loved to listen to country music as well.
She is survived by her former husband Clifton Jones of Little Falls, children, Patrick Compton and wife Cheryl of Little Falls, Richard Jones and wife Lynda of Little Falls, and Staceylynn Raymo and husband Matthew of Little Falls, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Her predeceased relatives include a brother Bill Compton and his wife Margaret.
Her funeral arrangements are with The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street in Little Falls, NY under the direction of Harry J. & Kevin E. Enea, Funeral Directors (315) 823-2424. Family and friends are invited to gather at calling hours which will be held on Friday January 9th, 2015 from 12 until 2 PM at the funeral home. The funeral service will begin Friday afternoon at the conclusion of visitation (2PM) with Pastor David Hayner of the New Life Church of Herkimer officiating.
