Dwayne Eddie Heimowitz

ILION-Dwayne Eddie Heimowitz, 46 of Cottage Street, went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 12, 2016 peacefully in his home.
Dwayne was born in Staten Island on November 13, 1969, the son of Jerome Heimowitz, Dominick Difatte and the late Marilyn Difatte. He was united in marriage to Catherine Street on September 2, 1995 and together they raised their beautiful girls; Rebecka, 19, and Janice, 16.
Dwayne is a brother to Janice Wenke (David), Scot Heimowitz (Cindy) and Brian Heimowitz (Jeannie).
Dwayne loved his nieces and nephews with all of his heart.
He will be greatly remembered and missed by his family, friends and associates that he touched through his self-less acts.
His love for life and adventure will be carried on by those who had the pleasure of experiencing his joyful spirit.
Join the family as they celebrate “Dwayne’s Dash” at a Memorial Service that will take place at the New Life Church, 337 Protection Avenue, at 11am on October 20th, 2016.
The family invites all to join them by wearing the color purple in honor of Dwayne.
