Douglas Henry Graudons Jr., age 25, passed away in a tragic motor vehicle accident on Thursday, July 9, 2026.
Douglas was born on May 2, 2001, in Little Falls, NY to Douglas and Trina Graudons. He was raised in Vanhornsville where he attended Owen D. Young school district. Doug was a ball of energy, always ready to go on any adventure and anywhere life took him. Doug loved to laugh, if you were in a room together you were sure to hear bouts of laughter coming from his direction. Doug worked for Superior Walls as a project manager and was highly loved and appreciated by the whole company.
Doug loved hanging out with all his family. He loved being with his children. He enjoyed taking them to family gatherings, amusement parks, zoos and getting them their sweet treats. Doug’s greatest source of pride and purpose was his two children Mia, age 9 and Alexander, age 2. Being Mia and Alex’s father was the role he cherished most, and he worked every day to be a loving, devoted and dependable father.
Doug was preceded in passing by his father and mother, Douglas and Trina Graudons, and his grandparents, Joe and Linda Nichols.
Doug is survived by his beloved children Mia and Alexander Graudons; his sisters, Trista Jones and Trinity Darling, his grandparents Henry and Claudia Graudons. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Beth and Rodney Rogers, Laura Graudons and Jordan Oldick, Brian and Ashley Graudons and Todd and Lisa Nichols, as well as many close cousins and great aunts and uncles. Doug shared most of his life with his companion Danielle Eaton. He has many close friends and colleagues who will deeply miss him. Doug’s legacy will live on through the many lives he touched and most especially his children.
Dougs family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe Street, Little Falls, on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 11:00am -1:00pm with a funeral commencing at 1:00pm officiated by Pastor Michael Torres. A funeral procession will follow to the Dolgeville Cemetery where Doug will be laid to rest. Following his internment, friends and family are invited to the Little Falls Elks Club, 60 N. Ann St, Little Falls, NY 13365 to gather and share memories.
