FRANKFORT - Dorothy G. Klock, age 98, of Mucky Run Rd., Frankfort, died on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica.



She was born on April 17, 1914, in Frankfort, the daughter of Burt and Mary (Grim) Bridenbecker. She graduated from the "Little Red School House" in Frankfort, NY. In 1941, she was married to Gilles Klock. He died in 1971. In her early years, she worked for Remington Rand Co., Ilion, and later worked for Sperry Rand Univac, in Utica. For ten years, she was employed at Weeden & Sitts Insurance of Frankfort, retiring thirty-six years ago. She was a devoted wife and mother.



Survivors include her three sons and one daughter-in-law, Norman Klock, at home, in Frankfort, Edward Klock, of Genesseo, IL, and Paul and Virginia Klock, of Fulton, NY; three grandchildren, Jason Klock, of Syracuse, Jennifer Klock, of Clinton, and Cody Klock, of New Hartford, NY; one great-grandson, Lucas Klock, of Syracuse; two nephews, Bob Krick and his wife, Joan, of VA, and Keith Bridenbecker; and one niece, Joyce Eddie.



She was predeceased by two sisters, Myrtle Krick and Ethel Klock, and one brother, Harold Bridenbecker.



Friends and relatives are invited to attend a graveside service for Dorothy, on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., at Frankfort Center Cemetery, Center Rd., Town of Frankfort, with Rev. Robert Wollaber, officiating. There are no calling hours.
