Dorothy Ruth (Williams) Carrig, 85, died Tuesday October 21, 2003 in Tara Nursing Home in Savannah Ga. She was born on March 22, 1918 in Ballston Spa, a daughter of George and Edith Williams. Prior to moving to Savannah in 1999, Mrs. Carrig was a resident of Cocoa Beach, Fl. She was employed as a beautician for many years in New York and Florida and was of Catholic Faith. She was preceded in death by her Husband John Carrig. Surviving are a son, Michael J. Povec of Savannah, Ga., two daughters, Mary Norman of Sunrise, Fl. and Theresa Gardner of Cocoa Beach, Fl., a brother, Perry Williams of Kansas City, Ks., a sister, Gladys Stephens of Sarasota Springs, Grandchildren, Captain Mark Povec of Wichita, Ks., David Martinovic of Sunrise, Fl., Jefferey Martinovic of Syracuse, and Brett Gardner of California. Burial will be in the Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls. The family is being served locally by The Enea Funeral Homes, Little Falls, (823-2424).
